So it’s fitting that their late Chairman, Geoff Ford MBE, set up the academy to give young people the skills, knowledge and experience they need to start a successful engineering career or find an apprenticeship.
Each programme is designed to give the practical skills that employers are looking for. They include high quality work experience placements, career insights talks and visits, embedded maths and English and support and advice to help you secure an apprenticeship or job after the course or move onto further training.
