Come along to our Say Hello event and get a taste of life as a TV, film and media student. You’ll get the chance to have a go at two 45 minute sessions with our specialist teachers:

• Media Language – learn the basics of media language before testing out your new-found knowledge to analyse famous scenes from a variety of film and TV shows.
• Agile Film Making – create a genre-flipping short film! In ‘Dusk till Dawn’ the first part of the film is a generic gangster thriller and in the last act (spoiler alert) it’s vampire mayhem! You’ll have the chance to do something similar and create a serious, cleanly executed news piece to a camera or interview. You’ll then flip to a different genre of your choice part way through – whether you go down the horror, sci-fi or thriller route, it’s up to you.

Plus, you’ll get to see where you’ll be studying, and meet your future classmates and teachers.
