What will the apprentice be doing?

  • Contribute to the delivery and evaluation of the marketing plan for the project programme.
  • Source, create and edit content in collaboration with colleagues on the project team for appropriate marketing channels such as website, email, social media, sales materials, event displays ensuring that brand guidelines are met.
  • Identify and use relevant and emerging trends, solutions and technologies to implement effective marketing activities.
  • Support and manage the cataloguing of offline and digital marketing materials and assets in line with marketing regulations and legislation.
  • Support the administration and delivery of marketing activities e.g. organise an online or in person event, run an email campaign, support press, advertising and PR activity and partner marketing activity.
  • Use customer relationship management systems to maintain accurate customer and partner data and relationships as part of the project.
  • Contribute to the monitoring of marketing expenditure and activities to a specified budget.
  • Contribute to the evaluation of marketing activity for project partners and funders using appropriate primary and or secondary research methods including survey tools and desktop research.

Weekly day release to Gateshead College
